The bible teaches us to love neighbors. Broadly this neighbor could be your friends, relatives, or coworkers. I find bible standard is really high, and many time it is hard to reach. (May be that is why we will never become Jesus, but stay as a sinner).
I hope I can be more open-minded, but somehow this is bothering me. Yesterday my son had some conflict with his friend, and he said he was acting stupid when he went to his house last weekend, his friend said why you were here at dinner time while your father didn't come to help.I can imgine how adults around talked, and influenced kids. While this story starts few weeks ago, when they started to renovate their basement. My CGA exam was around the corner, and my husband just changed to a new job, and we needed to close our swimming pool, change winter tire, sent kid to games,,,,. Anyways we didn’t go at the first week, but friend keep calling us to come to dinner with them. I expressed my uncomfortableness being there unable to be much helpful for them. But since they invited sincerely so we decided to go. I did hear voices like “hey, you guys come right before dinner time, ehhe”. My friend said that’s because we were close enough to talk like this. This, however, do hurt my feelings.
