虽没怎么看过韩剧，但就是一直不太喜欢，说不太清原因。几年前，国内流行哈韩族，男孩子留着颓废的长发，刘海儿把眼睛遮住，看上去很没朝气。那大概是他们眼里的酷吧，或者叫忧郁美。 后来，我又发现了现代的汽车很烂，就更加对韩国的东西不感兴趣。说这些，我并没有否认韩国人认真，能吃苦，又爱国的高尚情操，只是谈起我为什么不喜欢韩剧的原因，不过这原因听上去也好像不着边际，别人会觉得我是个容易产生成见的老顽固。
前一个周末，同学来电话，我正在看艺伎回忆录。说实话，影片一般。在紧张的工作了一个星期后的周末，应该放松才好，可片子是沉重的，让我觉得有点累。同学说我借给你一部韩剧看看，保准好看，又不让你感觉累。就这样，我开始看起了"My Girl"。
剧情的开始并不太精彩，所以我也是有空的时候看个一集两集的，但到了第五六集就开始好看起来。所以我从周六一直看到周日，一口气看完了。中间是想停下来做点别的，因为我周六有期中考，可是我就是没办法。一个朋友说我情商太低，没法控制自己，我承认，可另一方面，片子确实挺好看的。虽然我能猜出这种浪漫喜剧的结局，但是中间的戏剧性变化并不是都能猜出。还有个原因是，韩国人都很讲究穿衣是众所周知的。在这里值得一提的是男主人公经常会穿一些很别致的衬衫，和领带的搭配也很特别。不象我们这里，大家穿衣都太随便，whatever，只要舒适，不要好看。5年前我从国内带来的衣服在这里还不觉得土，往往还有人说，your jacket looks very nice!真是没有共同语言。

Saturday evening, after we finished early dinner, my husband asked me whether we should go out and enjoy the sunshine. At this time of the year, plus the daylight savings time, you will not feel dark until after 9pm. So it is cerntainly a good time to pick something you like doing outside, instead of watching TV on the couch or surfiing the internet... Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge was the one we both agreed on. It is a fun place and no cost at all.
The bridge was built in 1912, therefore instead of solid steel, you've got narrow wooden slats under your feet. And that is all which separates you from a 50 meters drop to Lynn Creek below. It is quite narrow, and just allows two people to pass each other. However, it is quite safe. I know it does not sound like that. No one has fallen from it, except that there was always someone who tried to jump from the bridge to the water every year, and got serious injury or never came back.
Except for the above sad story, it is a interesting place to go. There is an Ecology Centre, where you can see many pictures of the bridges in the past. You could also walk on various trails......We walked to the direction of Rice Lake for about 20 minutes. Unfortunately, I did not wear proper shoes so we did not go very far. I know there is a twin falls at the opposite direction, which I plan to come back someday.

周六，有幸得到几张音乐会的票子，曲目包括著名的勃拉姆斯的第一交响曲，真是幸运中的大幸运。
音乐会是在Vancouver Orpheum Theatre举行的。该剧院1927年11月7日剪彩，是当时太平洋沿岸规模最大，最奢华的综艺剧场。到了1974年3月19号，温哥华政府买下这块宝地，又对其进行三年的大幅的翻修和装璜。直至1977年，剧院重新开张，温哥华交响乐团(Vancouver Symphony Orchestra)也从此常驻，举办了无数的传统及现代的音乐盛会。
第一次来这是两年前，听瓦革纳的歌剧。剧院外部并不显眼，因为座落在downtown，空间有限，不太有余地发挥。但内部的确装饰的既古典又现代，气势磅礴，不同凡响。这次仍有同感。
