School is Done and Party Begins!

I should say something else before I come to the topic. This is so important to me! I just finished all the exams and obtained all the credits from the Accounting program on Tuesday evening, Dec 5th. It has been dragged too long, 20 months. See, my colleague just had a twin at this time of last year, and she is expecting the third one on May. She has three babies within that 20 months! How efficient! I have to admit I am a little bit slow, but I will be getting there one day......

Anyways, I feel so excited about it. It is just like what Ada says:"You can have fun NOW!" Yes! I will make the rest of the whole December full of joy!

One thing I was very touched by one of my colleagues is, J, from home, phoned me at work Tuesday afternoon, because she is expecting a baby next month (This is another girl, not the one with three babies), and wished me all the good luck on the last final exam that evening. And there is even "bonus" for me today. J came in for our Christmas party, and brought me a "Congratulations" card and a bag of Lindt chocolate. So sweet! Especially such a thing comes from a colleague. It means a lot to me.

Ok, Let's move to the Party.

We usually have a Christmas party when all the staff from the province come to have a meeting at early December. It is the same thing this year. But...one thing is special. We were going to have a baby shower for J. A lot of presents were to open, full of the table. Baby clothes, receiving blankets, baby monitor, toys......To be frank, I think mine is the best, or at least the most unique one, if not the best. It is called "Easy Sitter" and supposed to relieve the pain of your sitting position after giving birth. Plus it is portable. You can take anywhere you want. Especially J has a bony butt, like I do, so it will be perfect for her. She likes very much. I am glad that I have picked this one. (Do I always give good presents? My friends all nod no matter where they are...)

We were at India buffet. Chili Chicken was so yummy, but just soooo spicy. I can only have one small piece. As a whole, food was great. We could even take out the smell with us. Because...when we got into the car, and then realized that our clothes smelt like curry.

We are going to Holiday Inn Christmas Special Buffet for lunch tomorrow. It must be a good one, too. We've been there once, and food was just fantastic! I can not wait......mouth-watering......
