Age is only a number?or not ？

"Age is only a number~" My step-son comforted me confidently, when I mentioned I should not have started playing piano at age more than hald century; I compained that my poor piano skill caused by aging, "what you need is a good teacher." He says so easily

But, more and more I have realized that age is not only a number. I can forget the number, but can not stop forgetting things taught by teacher in high school. Moreover, the increasing fats gathering in my abdomen, looks like developing economy of my country, or like speedy inflation of my country. On the other hand, no matter how I try, my piano stays opposite of my age - immature. My fingures retards, can not follow either my reading on the music notes, or my will.

Age takes away my energy, beauty, and as well as the desire on materials.

I have to admit that age is not only a number...
